From Mexico to Bangladesh, and hundreds of places in between, businesses around the world are using Webflow to push the no-code movement to new heights. Today, we’re happy to announce 2 new features that will help more international customers go even further with the power to build custom, brand-first ecommerce stores.

Webflow Ecommerce is now open for business in 85 more countries

You can now open a store in any of PayPal’s merchant-supported countries and accept payments from anywhere PayPal operates globally, dramatically expanding the reach of Webflow Ecommerce around the world.

Until today, Webflow customers in 34 different countries were able to accept payments using Stripe as a checkout option on their stores. The addition of PayPal Checkout bumps our count of merchant-supported countries to a total of 119.

Webflow fans in the following countries can now create stores and accept payments through PayPal:

  • China
  • Indonesia
  • Thailand
  • Russia
  • Czech Republic
  • Romania
  • Colombia
  • Argentina
  • Chile
  • South Africa
  • Egypt
  • Morocco
  • And many more!

Unfortunately, PayPal Commerce is not available in all countries around the world so be sure to check out PayPal's Commerce platform availability.

Offer quick and flexible checkout options

PayPal lets your customers move through checkout even faster – and can even lift your conversion rate by up to 82%. Customers can browse, add to cart, buy, and confirm their order in just a few clicks. Plus, depending on their location and browser, they may see the option to pay with PayPal Credit, which makes it easy to finance their purchase.

With Stripe, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and now PayPal, your customers can choose the checkout method that’s right for them.

Format prices the right way for your customers

Pricing formats around the world vary as widely as cuisines, so it was important to us to ensure Ecommerce customers worldwide could format prices in a way that fit their currency and locale. By setting a specific currency, region, and language, a price format will be automatically selected for your customers and site editors.

Three settings will determine your default currency formatting: currency, language and region.

You also have the ability to fully customize the way your prices are formatted and displayed on your live site. A new price template lets you move or remove your currency symbol and code, or even add additional characters. You’re also able to use commas instead of decimals, or display whole numbers for a cleaner look.

What’s next for Webflow Ecommerce?

We’ve had our fingers on the pulse of customer feedback ever since we launched Webflow Ecommerce earlier in 2019. Over the next few months, our team will be working on some key features like coupon support, the ability to create orders without shipping information, and a new integration with a major shipping partner.

Stay tuned! If you have specific features you’d like to see, make sure to share them on our Wishlist
