Come push the boundaries of design at Webflow — we build software for professional designers. Lead our design efforts and work on crazy design projects like Webflow IX2.

Lead roles at Webflow function as Project Leads - you will play an integral role in the success of our marketing team’s launches and projects by supporting the design team with direction, leadership, guidance, and encouragement. This is not solely a management position so you will also be expected to be hands on. This is a great role for someone who has had experience with the pace and variety of agency work and wants to grow their leadership skills while still contributing at a pixel and DOM level.

This role reports to the Head of Growth. You will lead other Brand Designers on the team.

We are looking for those with a rich history of designing, producing, and launching world-class products and campaigns. You could hail from a top design agency, or come from an in-house design team. We’re looking for candidates that have the right blend of design thinking and business intellect, looking for the next challenge in their career.

  • Drive and execute design work for Webflow’s brand initiatives. Work on marketing initiatives as well as different design and content collaborations.
  • Provide design leadership and mentorship for your project team.
  • Draft and present brand design projects.
  • Create bold and thought provoking designs with the right mix of content, visual, and interactivity.
  • Assist in scoping out the timeline and requirements of design engagements.
  • Foster an open, collaborative, and inclusive environment for the design team.


  • Over 5 years of experience crafting digital stories or designing digital products.
  • Experience either at an in house software company or at a product agency.
  • Experience building and leading designers.
  • Strong web design experience, with an emphasis on visual storytelling.
  • A solid portfolio of digital (visual and web) work that can speak to both your UX and visual design skills.
  • Strength in leading a design projects to completion.
  • Strong visual storyteller, with a transparent design process.
  • A solid understanding of the state of web design, web design tools, and the direction of the digital industry.
  • You receive feedback well and can iterate on your designs within a team, no matter how attached to them you are.
