Designer Advocate

San Francisco, CA
Remote Considered

Description

As a Webflow Design Advocate, your goal will be to inspire designers and developers to learn a new way to build for the web. Today, building for the web is considered a dual endeavor of design and development, with distinct “owners” of each discipline — your job will be to explain how the future of the web will combine both disciplines.

You’ll be traveling to meetups and events, organizing Webflow-centric events, curating our Webflow Experts directory, helping maintain our Help Center, working with the Webflow Community Experts, creating high-quality websites/landing pages and tutorials to help our community design and develop more effectively, and doing everything in your power to ensure that Webflow is top of mind for designers pushing the boundaries of web design.

Note: You'll need valid U.S. work authorization to join us.

Responsibilities

  • Work with design institutions to get Webflow in classrooms
  • Contribute to Webflow workshops on our YouTube channel
  • Attend and speak at web design meetups around the country
  • Curate the Webflow Experts program
  • Formulate plan for organizing and mobilizing Webflow Community Experts
  • Create Webflow websites and tutorials to help new users go from idea to launch
  • Work closely with the marketing team to identify and create events for the Webflow community
  • Speak to designers and developers around the world (in person or virtual) who are interested in using Webflow
  • Put together presentations that keep event attendees engaged and interested.

Requirements

  • Experience running in-person and digital events
  • 1+ years of Webflow experience
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Passion for and in-depth knowledge of Webflow specifically, and responsive web design generally
  • Motivating and engaging public speaker on the topics of web design.
  • A passion for sharing that knowledge with the design community
  • Ability to create beautiful, usable websites in Webflow, as well as tutorials to guide potential and existing users in achieving results
  • Experience leading workshops, talks, and presentations geared toward the design community

Application

Please email jobs@webflow.com with all three application requirements: 1. a link to your portfolio site, and be sure to include at least one video of you giving a talk/presentation. 2. link to your Webflow profile. 3. And a short paragraph on why you’d be suited for the role.
