Avni Patel Thompson is an entrepreneur and writer, currently working on building parents their modern village. She was formerly the founder and CEO of Poppy, a startup whose mission was to connect busy parents to talented, vetted caregivers. Her background is in building consumer products that solve everyday problems for companies like Procter & Gamble, BCG, adidas and Starbucks. Avni has a BSc. in Chemistry from UBC and an MBA with honors from Harvard Business School. When she’s not scheming about solving problems, you’ll find her in the middle of a dance party with her 2 girls, planning her next adventure abroad, writing, or pontificating on Twitter.
