I decided to call this effect a text sandwich, because that's pretty much what it is; a visual sandwiched by two layers of text. Front text with a stroke, back text with a fill. Built in Webflow with components and using a Spline scene as the visual in the middle.

3D inflated text interaction with Spline

Color Wheel of Fortune interaction effect made for the Webflow x GSAP Community Challenge 2025 Week 2.

GSAP Color Wheel of Fortune

This was the 10 minute build I made for my application for the Webflow Speed Build Challenge 2023.

My prompt was "A hero row for a toy store that has an air theme that also has a continuous scrolling interaction".

I interpreted "toy store" with "air theme" as a toy drone store. Generated the illustration as an 80s magazine ad in a retro-futuristic style with MidJourney. Cut the elements out with Photoshop and used the generative fill in Photoshop Beta to fill in the blanks.

And of course made the scrolling interaction with Webflow Interactions.
