Bulk Component Deleter

Instantly identify and delete unused components from your Webflow projects. Save hours of manual work with intelligent scanning and safe bulk deletion.

What It Does

Bulk Component Deleter scans your entire Webflow project to find components that aren't being used anywhere on your site. It then lets you selectively or bulk delete them to keep your project clean and organized.

How It Works

1. Intelligent Scanning

Click the "Scan for Unused Components" button and the extension automatically:

  • Navigates through every page in your project
  • Analyzes all elements on each page
  • Scans inside component definitions to find nested usage
  • Counts how many times each component is used across your entire site

The scanning process is smart enough to detect components nested inside other components like icons within your navbar or elements inside your footer ensuring accurate usage counts.

2. Review Your Components

After scanning, you'll see a complete list of all components in your project with:

  • Component names and IDs
  • Exact usage counts for each component
  • Color-coded badges showing used vs unused status
  • Search functionality to find specific components
  • Filters to show all, only used, or only unused components

3. Selective or Bulk Deletion

Choose your cleanup approach:

  • Individual Selection: Click checkboxes to select specific components
  • Bulk Selection: Use "Select All Unused" to choose all components with 0 uses
  • Search First: Find components by name, then select what you want to delete

The interface shows you exactly how many components are selected and provides a "Clear Selection" option to start over.

4. Safe Removal

When you click delete:

  • A confirmation dialog shows exactly which components will be removed
  • You must confirm before any deletion happens
  • A professional loading screen displays real-time progress
  • Progress bar shows current deletion status (e.g., "Deleting 5 of 12... 42%")
  • After deletion, the project automatically re-scans to update the list

5. Export Reports (Optional)

Generate professional CSV reports containing:

  • All component names and usage counts
  • Component IDs for reference
  • Site name and scan timestamp
  • Used vs unused status for each component

Perfect for documentation, client handoffs, or keeping records of your cleanup process.

Key Features

  • Filter by: All / Used / Unused
  • See total components vs filtered results
  • Real-time search updates

Safe Operations

  • Review before deleting anything
  • Clear confirmation dialogs
  • Can't accidentally delete used components
  • Visual distinction between used and unused

Professional Interface

  • Clean, modern design
  • Real-time progress tracking
  • Smooth animations
  • Clear status messages and error handling

Who Should Use This

  • Agencies: Clean up client projects before handoff
  • Freelancers: Save hours on project organization
  • Teams: Maintain organized shared projects
  • Template Creators: Deliver clean, optimized files
  • Anyone working with large Webflow projects with many components

Why You Need It

Manually finding unused components means checking every page, every section, and every nested element. With dozens or hundreds of components, this takes hours and you'll likely miss nested usage, accidentally deleting components that are actually in use.

Bulk Component Deleter does in 30 seconds what would take you 2-4 hours manually and does it more accurately.
