This site was made for a therapy practice in Chicago. But not just any practice. And not just any visitor.

In Pursuit Counseling works with people navigating anxiety, disconnection, trauma. People who are tired, uncertain, or simply trying to keep moving.

The site had to reflect that. It couldn’t overwhelm. It couldn’t pretend.

The layout is quiet. Movements are slow. Type and the spacing give the words some room to land.

Even the color palette was chosen to feel like a pause, a kind of softness that says: you're safe here.

It’s not built to impress... It’s built to be trusted.
And sometimes, that’s harder.

This time, I experimented with the platform a little bit, and I tried to recreate Minecraft's iconic character, Steve, entirely in Webflow.

No external images or resources—just Div Blocks, interactions, and native animations! 🚀

🌟 Project highlights:

- Steve rotates and follows the cursor
- Walking animation triggers on page load and scroll
- A zoom-in effect when you hover over the character

💡 I added a bit of JavaScript to map textures to the Div Blocks by dynamically changing the background colors.

Bringing Blackbird IT’s digital presence to life required a balance of design precision and strategic thinking. The site’s layout and colour palette were carefully considered to reflect the identity of a forward-thinking tech company, while also capturing Blackbird IT’s unique personality. Drawing on colour theory, we used deep black tones and textured elements to convey stability and security, offset by vibrant highlights to signal innovation and energy. Functionality was front and centre, with a focus on clear navigation and a smooth user experience. Through close collaboration, we turned Blackbird IT’s vision into a bold, contemporary website that tells their story with confidence.
