Product Experience Designer at A11y Design ResearchAbout
Jennifer Mensink is a Product Experience Designer with 10+ years of proven success helping businesses capture competitive market segments in the EdTech, eCommerce, Software Development, Media Entertainment, Medical Practice, and Client Service industries. Adopting a "two heads, one dream" philosophy, she is a fierce advocate for SMBs and nonprofits that provide life-changing products to underserved and overlooked populations. During COVID, she joined the A11y Design Research (ADR) team members in their efforts to save Southern brick-and-mortar businesses by bringing their inventory online. Jenn traveled to Austin, Atlanta, Charlotte, and Miami to evaluate client work systems and employee technical skills during day-to-day operations before creating Shopify, WooCommerce, and Magento shops. After developing a keen understanding of stakeholder needs, she integrated commonly-used applications, customized dashboards for employees and management, and developed personalized microlessons for business users. All of the 19 clients ADR served during the pandemic are thriving using the sustainable solutions (13 websites and 9 apps for mobile and web) the agency designed to scale, evidencing Jenn's ability manage change and drive technology acceptance in high-stakes situations.
