This demo showcases a circular slider with animated panels in the background. The panels were created in After Effects and triggered via a slider element in Webflow. The main slider was also linked to a secondary slider that showcases text. The sliders were linked together via custom code.

This demo showcases an animated SVG/Lottie menu that comes in from the right to the left. The animation path was created in Adobe Illustrator and then animated in Adobe After Effects. Afterward it was brought into Webflow and the animation was triggered alongside a menu opening. Animations were also added to the open and close buttons as well as to the menu items in the menu.

The micro-interaction for the slider arrows was created in After Effects, and custom code was added to trigger multiple slides at once.

This is a menu that reveals from the upper-left and the upper-right. They remind me a bit of like curtains coming in. There are many variations for this menu that I can think of as far as design and adding different elements. One example could be to add different textures or images to the panels as they come in, or trying different color variations for the panels. I kept it simple for this one to showcase the concept. 

The menu animating in was built with Webflow Interactions. The rotating text inside of the menu was built with Illustrator, After Effects, and Lottie.

This demo incorporates the following:

-An intro with a logo animation created in After Effects and added with Lottie
-A Slider
-Animated headings when the slides change
-A Lightbox link with the background color of the site
-Elements added with Grid and Flexbox

WebDev For You - Animal Conservation UI

He’s back!

I’ll admit, an interaction a day was a bit ambitious. I had to take a nice break to re-think how I wanted to share new content. After some time I am re-introducing the interactions, but this time they will be weekly instead of daily. I might throw in an extra 1 or 2 in a week if I’m feeling inspired.

The other thing you will note with these interactions is that the video tutorials are no longer free on YouTube. The interactions and video tutorials take time to create and craft, so there is now a subscription where you can receive a weekly video tutorial on how to create the interaction of the week. Now that Webflow has introduced Lottie as a feature we will be using Adobe Illustrator and After Effects to create really unique and sophisticated interactions.

Thanks everyone for all the kind words and feedback on the interactions. I do have a lot of fun creating them and am happy to be sharing them again :).
