Explore the Transhumans gallery one-pager. It's a simple and beautiful space, built with a CSS grid and powered by a CMS. You can customize each item with different URLs, and all the images are CC0, so use them as you like. Best of all? The entire site is clonable. Feel free to take it, tweak it, and make it your own.

Enjoy!

I found the effect on the iPhone SE 2022 page (the site is deleted by Apple every year if a new iPhone model comes out). Variant #1 is using scale and is less cropping of the images. Variant #2 is more flexible.

I'll show you a trick to control the size of CMS elements via a toggle to give your clients more flexibility in displaying CMS collections in Webflow.

Each CMS element has an example toggle "medium", "large" and "align Center". As soon as one of these options is active, a class is added to the element "grid-item" via custom code, which changes the size of the element or the alignment. The classes and sizes of the grid items can be changed in the hidden section-cms-grid. In order for it to work, the embed field in each CMS item and the jQuery code must be added.

This demo showcases how to use CSS clip-path to create unique hover effects that reveal the same image in interesting ways. By applying clip-path animations and manipulating CSS filter properties or transforming the image, a variety of effects can be achieved.

I've been experimenting with creating an Image Lightbox that incorporates subtle text movements and filter effects. I wanted to challenge myself by using the CMS to allow for flexibility when making content updates while maintaining a unique visual layout.

It's interesting to see how subtle motion and timing can make interactions feel more natural and seamless.

It’s available as a cloneable for anyone interested in exploring the setup or using parts of it.

Inspired by an interaction I saw online and wanted to build in Webflow. Background images are set on unique combo classes, each base class set with a size/filter/bg color animation. Mobile responsive with a click IX while the desktop is hover. Sized by width percentage for desktop and height on mobile.

Built on Finsweet client-first clone.
