SMALL STEP FOR CIVILIZATION, GIANT STEP FOR NOCODE

Nocode tools are often viewed as primitive website builders. So I rebuilt Civilization VI and published the largest Webflow project ever featuring 12,400 elements, 1,800 styles, 1,200 assets, and 400 interactions.

This prototype is a loving tribute to Sid Meier and one of my favorite games of all time. I've integrated all 46 leaders along with their soundtracks and nearly every feature in the game.

The project stands at a whooping 124GB! The next time someone tries to dismiss nocode or asks you what's possible, just ping them this link :)

This is a remake of the Wildfox Squad NFT site that earned an honorable mention on Awwwards.com. This was a 3 day build challenge. A few animations are missing, and one section is slightly different, but 90% is the same.

I liked Bertani's horizontal scrolling website so much that I rebuilt it in Webflow.

Almost no custom code was used. I used just a little for insignificant stuff such as hiding the scrolling bars, adding the difference blend mode to the cursor, creating the countdown year effect in the preloader, and adding an outline to the text in the menu.

In order to help me get in the zone a bit better each morning, learn more from the best designers in the industry and test what's capable with Webflow, I've had an idea where I find a design I think is interesting and try to recreate it in Webflow in under an hour. 

My first build is recreating Kyle McDowell's "Travel Blog Concept". I liked the way this sleek layout utilises an interesting right angle navigation, which informs the rest of the contents positioning inside a slider. So it was interesting trying to figure out the best way to have a consistent layout for both the nav and the slider.

I took some time to revise one of Pixer's open-source rebuilds and added Memberstack to it. 

This free webflow template is heavily inspired by Pipe.com’s website circa March 2022. It includes a fixed navbar with hover and scroll interactions, working sign up, and login pages, feature sections, testimonials (inspired by Lattice.com), tabs, comparison section, fun gradients, a dark UI, lottie animations, and a footer section. 

Plus the whole project is responsive! Note I only QA’d for like 30 minutes so there are likely bugs. Please let me know if you find any!

Note: you could use this template with Memberstack's pre-built UI (the one you see in the template now) or you could link directly to your own custom signup form. Totally up to you.
