I've been looking for a countdown timer that I could easily integrate into Webflow and stumbled across this simple script that made it possible. I forget the author on CodePen (I'm sorry), but I figured I would share the project in case this can help you too. 

It's really easy to add and style into your own project. The numbers have separate ID's for "Days", "Hours", "Minutes" and of course "Seconds". To change the time just go into the javascript under "Custom Code" for this page and change the date. It will be written like so: "2018-09-28-00" (pretty sure, you'll see it).

Then style the classes as you wish! 🤙🏻

Updated: 08-03-2018 (Javascript code works for all browsers).

This time I merged Webflow interactions and animations with a bit of CSS animations and JavaScript to create a fun and entertaining countdown timer.

Why is it different from all other timers you can find on Webflow Showcase?

Because it has a custom sliding CSS animation, it is completely based on attributes, and it is modular!

This virtual timer was modelled after a clever countdown timer design by timetimer.com. 

The website + visual interactions were made in Webflow, the audio is from Freesound.org, the red circle animation is from Lottiefiles.com, and the code which plays the audio was generated by me in ChatGPT.

60 Minute Time Timer
Refresh the page. The timer resets itself to 60 minutes anytime the page reloads. 

55-5 Minute Time Timer
Simply hover and click on the time you want. This will wind the virtual timer automatically and begin the countdown. When time is up, a relaxing and slow-to-build audio file will begin to play.
