A clean, accessible FAQ accordion component built without Webflow Interactions, powered entirely by custom JS and CSS for reliable, glitch-free open/close behavior. Each accordion item opens and closes with a smooth height animation, transitions the background and text color on click, and rotates the icon 45° to signal state. Everything reverses cleanly on close. What makes this component stand out is its theme attribute system. Simply add a theme color (e.g. theme="#002a25"), and the component automatically uses that color for its active background, icon background, and inverted text, no touching the code. Drop the same component on different pages with different brand colors, set the attribute once, and it just works. How to customize: Click on the component and set your desired hex code in the properties panel. White is always used as the contrast color automatically.
