Historic Mississippi Ave

A visitor-first website for the Historic Mississippi Business Association, the nonprofit behind one of Portland's most distinctive commercial streets — a stretch of independent shops, restaurants, food carts, and music venues in the Boise-Eliot neighborhood. The site helps visitors discover the area's businesses, events, and character, including the annual Mississippi Street Fair. The design leans on editorial serif typography, a warm green-and-cream palette, and photography-driven storytelling to capture the specificity of a place that resists being described in generic terms. Designed and built by Portland-based Serenity Studios.
