JJR Macleod Memorial Statue Society

We designed and developed a dignified, legacy-focused digital home for the JJR Macleod Memorial Statue Society—celebrating Aberdeen's forgotten Nobel laureate and co-discoverer of insulin. To honor such a monumental medical breakthrough, the website needed to feel like a digital extension of the physical memorial itself. We crafted an elegant, editorial, and deeply educational experience that guides visitors through Professor Macleod's incredible history, the global fundraising campaign, and the unveiling of Scotland's first-ever interactive "storytelling statue" in Duthie Park.
