Leuven Diabetes Lab

The Leuven Diabetes Lab is a leading research center dedicated to advancing the understanding and treatment of type 1 diabetes. Led by Professor Chantal Mathieu, the lab focuses on innovative research into beta-cell preservation, immune modulation, and the role of Vitamin D in managing the disease.
