Originating from a handwritten family cookbook (“kookschrift”) by Mia, Tom van der Have revives the soulful recipes, language, and traditions of Indo mothers. Recipes like sajoers, sambelans, kerrie, and many more. Its mission: to rescue fragile, fading heritage notebooks from oblivion and make them publicly accessible in their authentic form. Nenek blends archival valor, cultural storytelling, and an elegant, readable interface, ensuring these ancestral flavours and words live on for future generations.
