The Rex Denton Jr. website celebrates the life of one of Fordsville, Kentucky's beloved artists. Rex Denton Jr. passed away in October 2014 at the age of 95. He documented much of our community history through his pencil portraits of citizens of Fordsville during the nineteen-thirties, forties, fifties and sixties. In 2015, the Fordsville Historical Society and Museum Inc. established an Artistic Achievement Program in his name to recognize, encourage and celebrate the art of our up and coming grade school artists'.
