Elizabeth Spranzani

Liz, the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Verndale, has over 20 years of experience in the digital experience industry. A graduate of Boston College with degrees in Computer Science and Psychology, Liz has been with Verndale since its early days as a small 7-person shop. She has played a pivotal role in the company's growth to its current status as a 250+ person agency.

As CTO, Liz collaborates closely with the Development, Business Analysis, QA, Front-End, and Engineering teams to ensure best practices, innovation, and passion are embedded in every project. Her responsibilities are divided into three key areas:

First, delivery: Liz works with technical leaders to ensure projects are executed successfully within budget and timeline, prioritizing reuse, efficiency, quality, and positive business outcomes for clients.

Second, technical landscape: Liz stays at the forefront of industry trends, especially in light of the global pandemic's impact on technology use. She helps clients navigate the evolving landscape of SaaS, composable architecture, low/no code solutions, and AI to future-proof their digital experiences.

Third, business evolution: Liz collaborates with Verndale's executive team to drive the company's continuous evolution and maintain its competitive edge.

Beyond her role at Verndale, Liz contributes her expertise pro bono as a consultant and board member for Ember Philanthropy, the non-profit arm of MDC Productions. Ember Philanthropy aims to provide comfort to individuals and families during difficult times by creating joyful and memorable experiences.

In her spare time, Liz coaches a U10 girls' travel soccer team and leads her daughter's Girl Scout troop, finding these activities to be invaluable and rewarding experiences.
