📚 Good Books is a curated collection of book recommendations from some of the most successful, influential and interesting people around the world.

This project started about 6-months ago when I started to keep track of all the books that I wanted to read and who recommended them. I then got (a little) obsessed with the project and ended up accumulating over 15,000 book recommendations from about 1,250 people...

I built Good Books to share these book recommendations with the world, organising them into simple categories and industries so it's easy to find your next read.

This is the site for an illustration library called Open Doodles. It uses a combination of CSS Grid, Flexbox, two CMS collections, symbols, and hover interactions! Making it clonable in hopes others can use it as a starting point or as a way to learn new tricks.

Feel free to use this site and illustrations however you want. You can copy, edit, remix, or close the site and these images for any personal or commercial use.

After seeing Niccolò Miranda FatFatFat Festival site I was instantly inspired to see if I could recreate some of the interactions. With my own interpretation I have created a unique micro site with all interactions created in Webflow.

Welcome to Daily Interaction #109 :).

This demo showcases a menu item animation on hover. When you hover over each menu item a line goes through the text at the top and another line reveals at the bottom adding to the menu item name. This effect was accomplished by having the top text and line inside of a wrapper with an overflow of hidden. Then the line was moved from left to right via interactions. The bottom text and block are inside of a wrapper as well, and I have the block moving in the opposite direction as the top line. One thing to note with this interaction is that the bottom block had to be moved immediately back to the right after revealing so that on hover out it comes in from left to right which is the opposite of the line movement for the top text.

My first fully web-based UI Template, 100% developed in Webflow Designer. All elements ready to copy & paste or fully clone into your projects! 

I prepared all styles for all the main typography elements (H1-H6, links, paragraphs etc.), button, tags, alerts or social icons. And then using these “atoms” create as many cards as possible for you to have a nice starting field for new designs. I ended up with 28 cards in total My main aim was to create something visually beautiful for new users or developers who are, to put it nicely non-designers.. All of them are obviously responsive in all Webflow stages. There are 2 hero sections, nice product cards, article thumbnails for the blog or even sign up dialogue with all form elements covered.
