We collaborated on this single-page portfolio design with my friend and Fashion Illustrator Augusto Graciano. 

We aimed to not only capture but also elevate the essence of his artwork in a clean -minimalist- environment, where his skill set is fluidly displayed as users explore 

Our intention was to provide a clean canvas while also allowing the UI to have a personality. We maintained an achromatic color palette throughout, allowing the illustrations to shine. Augusto's doodles were handmade as vectors -then animated in LottieLabs and AfterEffects, and timed with Webflow's Interactions- to represent the artist following the user's path as they explore. You will be able to leave your mark by doodling in the footer section as well, inviting you to participate and intervene.

We merged our experience in Illustration, UI Design, and Webflow Dev to create a digital portfolio that celebrates each other's talents.

Landing page made for a client using their stunning 3D videos and custom interactions to narrate a story about the creative advantages of an Augmented Reality device.

A New Era of Play

Hi everyone!
I crafted this cut-off effect for an upcoming project and thought I should share it with the community.

The window circle is animated using native Webflow interactions to follow the mouse movement through the viewport.
Using CSS3 Blending Modes I managed to make the background behind visible. In this case, I used a video background but it can be replaced by a static image or a gif. (Keep the same classes and replace the video bg for a regular div, then add the background image in the styling panel).

The Green version contains the demo content and some cosmetic styling, but I also included a "Warm/Clean" version (see footer) that contains just the effect so it's easier to implement on your own projects.

I encourage you to play around with backgrounds in both the Mask-BG and the Animated-BG to achieve some mesmerizing visuals.

Cursor cut-off with Background Video 

Hey! I built this simple solution that changes the color of the scrollbar as sections enter and exit the viewport for an upcoming project and thought it could be useful enough to share. 

It was made with custom CSS and Javascript.
The Javascript code uses Finsweet's Class Adder and is standalone.

Scrollbar Color Change on Scroll

My new portfolio is finally out from my workspace's vault! 
It almost didn't get to turn on the pixels on your screen because I'm already working on the next one, but someone I appreciate a lot said to me "It's always better to show than to keep" so here it is in all its flaws and quirkiness. 

If you enjoy it as much as I did enjoy creating it from scratch, then we might think alike :)

Y2K Button Collection

I made a quick DOS-styled landing page to have a little coming soon notice on my new domain http://eloyb.design  
The layout and execution are pretty simple, used Typed.js for text animations, custom interactions for button reveals, and added a canvas line that follows the cursor just because it felt cool.
