This cloneable project shows a call-to-action banner, which is a great way to indicate an announcement at the top of your site and encourage your site visitors to do something.

You can place banners anywhere and style them however you like; this clonable project shows a typical alert banner (as inspired by Apple.com) — one that slides out from under the navbar on page load.

In this video and project I'll guide you through creating the "Since You've Been Gone UI" in Webflow. I'll show you how to implement a modal that displays new features to returning users.

By checking the most recent CMS item and using custom code, we can determine if a user has seen the feature before. I'll explain the necessary attributes and provide the code you need. And how to show the modal to new users or only to returning users.

Drop-in Webflow script that makes your announcement banner dismissible site-wide.

When a visitor clicks the close button on any page, the banner disappears everywhere for 24 hours, then automatically returns.

Works by storing a timestamp in localStorage and checking it on page load.
