Once the popup is open, scrolling of the entire page is disabled using custom code (body = overflow hidden). This helps longer content in the popup overlay to scroll more comfortably without accidentally scrolling the whole page. For the video popup, additional custom jQuery code is needed to stop the video from running in the background when the close button is clicked.

I started building out this Webflow project back on August 14th, 2017 for a hack week project for a pre-built layouts idea (you'll see more about that soon). It was a lot of fun, and I'm excited for the future of these capabilities once they're native at some point.

Essentially these layouts can be used as building blocks to build out a v1 wireframe of a website/landing page etc. They use the least amount of styles possible so that you can make any section your own. You could even use this to make your own templates if you wanted to. 

All of the elements are built from symbols which should have hopefully easy to find names. So you can use Quick Find (CMD + K), to quickly find a symbol and drop it in the page. 

Be sure to press CMD + SHIFT + A to disconnect the section from the symbol before you begin styling.

In this project, we've recreated the Memberstack profile modal using Webflow tabs. This cloneable template provides a user-friendly way for your members to manage their profile details, email settings, password changes, access content, and update billing information. You could drop this into your favorite modal or remove the background so the UI is full page.

Please note this project will remain non-functioning until you add the Memberstack header script to your project.

Looking to build a site which allows people to donate? Here's a perfect example of how you could do that.

Each one of the donation amounts is a plan - you could add all plans to the same gated content group so that everyone who donates gets access to the same content.

You can do this with a whole bunch of amounts so that people can donate any amount of money - for simplicity, I just made it 4 options.

This type of flow will allow you to create something like Patreon/BMAC on your own fully custom site.

Showcasing content is essential. However, if you have much content on a website you have to recognize the behavior of the page for your visitors. There are different techniques to display content most intuitively while still providing the volume of content some visitors may require. One way is to add a "load more" button to display content dynamically.

This project provides a light jQuery solution with a focus (scroll to) the newly displayed content and a fade-out effect when all content is displayed.
