The workaround for using CMS collections with the native lightbox in Webflow can be extremely daunting for users who don't know code. Plus the setup is really long for something that can essentially be done very easily with the right tools.

Well in this project we are looking at Magnific Popup. A JQuery plugin to make using lightbox extremely easy. It requires hardly any custom code to get what you want. And the best part about it is you don't have to sacrifice any design features in Webflow.

It's interesting to see how subtle motion and timing can make interactions feel more natural and seamless.

After some searching around "Made in Webflow" cloneables, I couldn't find an Image Gallery that replicated AirBnB's gallery popup functionality.

I decided to build it here, just replace the pictures and reformat the grid how you'd like (you might learn a thing or two like I did 😉). There's also a nifty little "copy to clipboard" button on the share links.
