I came across a popular forum thread in need of an update, so figured I'd release a cloneable to go with the solution. 

TLDR: Webflow select inputs come with a "placeholder" option. If you want to prevent the user from selecting that option then you need to add a bit of custom code to hide it.

Online Status Indicator

Making users manually scroll to the top of the page can be frustrating for them, especially if you have a really long page - so, a common solution is to add a button which lets the user clock once, and it takes them to the top.

Doing this in Webflow isn't necessarily hard, but you usally need to deal with section IDs and animations which can be inconsistent across pages - that's why we've made this simple solution. Simply add one attribute and one scipt, and everything will work as intended!

This is the demo project for MemberScript #73. 

I've developed "Member Script 73" to help you display real-time welcome messages on your website. Whether you're catering to members or just visitors, this script seamlessly shows the current day, month, year, or time. Simply place the script before your page's closing body tag and wrap your dynamic content in a <span> with the ms-code-date attribute. For instance, <span ms-code-date="day">Today</span> could display "Monday". No need for heavy edits; it's designed to be plug-and-play. Give it a try, and I hope it enhances your user experience!

If you have a long tabs section with a sticky menu, as you may no, it's not the best user experience - when a user switches the tab, it will remain in it's current scroll position - even though the content itself is new.

With this solution, every time the tab is changed, it will scroll to the top of the tabs section, and you can even add an offset to make sure it doesn't block stuff like your navbar.

You know when you right click something in a web app (like Figma or Webflow) and it opens a custom menu with different options, instead of the browser's usual options?

Well, here's a way that you can do that in Webflow - this resource contains a demo, a script, and a tutorial.

Custom Context Menus

If you (for any reason) can't use a link field in the Webflow CMS, and you're stuck with a plain text field - you may still need to use that plain text field to set your link, or href attribute.

This simple snippet and attribute based solution will allow you to use anything, including Webflow CMS plain text fields, to set your href attributes.
