Simply put, Young&Inspired is a short documentary about the relationship of fashion and music and its impact on young artists today. Typically, we are able to assign a musical sound to a garment, or a particular image with a musical sound. In other words, you probably wouldn’t say that Chopin sounds like drop-crotch pants and a dad hat. Designers, musicians, performers, and artists all use fashion and music to portray a creative identity to an audience, perhaps based on underlying thoughts, feelings, or beliefs. Young&Inspired captures the identity and inspiration of young artists based out of Toronto and explains how they use fashion and music to express their creative identity.
