SMALL STEP FOR CIVILIZATION, GIANT STEP FOR NOCODE

Nocode tools are often viewed as primitive website builders. So I rebuilt Civilization VI and published the largest Webflow project ever featuring 12,400 elements, 1,800 styles, 1,200 assets, and 400 interactions.

This prototype is a loving tribute to Sid Meier and one of my favorite games of all time. I've integrated all 46 leaders along with their soundtracks and nearly every feature in the game.

The project stands at a whooping 124GB! The next time someone tries to dismiss nocode or asks you what's possible, just ping them this link :)

I built this page for Sofia Game Jam 2019 to showcase the best games made in the past 5 editions of SGJ. 

This year, our whole aesthetic is built around vaporwave and synthwave, so I thought it'd be cool to bring in a little extra nostalgia by recreating a Windows 95 desktop full of dope-looking game icons.

Just for the heck of it I also added some additional stuff like:
• A semi-functioning Start Menu
• A Recycle Bin
• A screensaver

And a bunch of other stuff you can click around to find out. :P

P.S. It ain't responsive. I could have made it, but I thought "Hey, Win95 never supported mobile devices". :P

I just tried to recreate one of my all time favorit parallax hero sections in Webflow and it worked as a charm!

Just double click on the images and replace them with your own graphics... Then you have your own dope custom parallax hero. 😊👍 (All images must have a aspect ration of 1440x900px) 

I'm still in a transition period from WP and Elementor... But i am never gong back again. WEBFLOW ROCKS!

I was watching a documentary on how Doom was one of the first 3D games ever created and thought "Hey, you could probably create something in Webflow like that"

So I took an old concept I'd created of a rotating 3D box (Included in this project) and positioned it so that you were inside it. Then I added some controls so that it seemed as though you were moving inside it but it's actually the box that's getting moved around.

Pretty insane what Webflow is capable of.

First Person Game Concept

I'm developing an interactive template that will enable anyone to create full blown classic text adventure games natively in Webflow that look, play, and feel amazing. This is the first game I created to demonstrate its capabilities.

Can you survive the night or is this the end? Make your choices carefully in this nerve-racking literary survival game. Test your nerves and share your pain with your friends.

Having seen the explosion in Wordle's popularity - I wanted to try to rebuild it inside Webflow! I think we got pretty close?

P.S: Press the "W" in Wordle logo to activate the HIDDEN "Webflow mode" 🐇  which WHEN ACTIVATED switches the dictionary to only include words related to CSS, HTML & all things Webflow ;) 

All interactions, popups, word lists & attributes are inside Webflow. 

Rules are the same as the original: You have six tries to guess the 5 letter word. Except, every time you refresh - the word changes (so you can keep playing). Let me know if you found this useful? Easily customize the wordlist to your company/ niche or industry.
