In this cloneable you will find a custom navigation including a dropdown for a submenu. For the dropdown you will find one desktop animation and a separate mobile animation. Further more you will find a scroll animation for the navigation bar, that is made with just some lines of custom code.

Webflow Video Tour Widget

Hey wonderful folks! Just wrapped up a simple one-time welcome modal which appears after signup.

Under the hood, it's using a tiny bit of custom code (Explained in the tutorial video) to show or hide an element based on a link parameter. If "welcome=" is present in the URL, then the element will appear. 

You could adapt this code to do all kinds of things! On form submissions, on signup, on login, on logout, on button click, etc. etc. Anytime the page refreshing and you can set a new link param this code will fire.

This virtual timer was modelled after a clever countdown timer design by timetimer.com. 

The website + visual interactions were made in Webflow, the audio is from Freesound.org, the red circle animation is from Lottiefiles.com, and the code which plays the audio was generated by me in ChatGPT.

Timer Instructions

60 Minute Time Timer
Refresh the page. The timer resets itself to 60 minutes anytime the page reloads. 

55-5 Minute Time Timer
Simply hover and click on the time you want. This will wind the virtual timer automatically and begin the countdown. When time is up, a relaxing and slow-to-build audio file will begin to play.

Commenting Tutorial

This Webflow input switch is built using the native Webflow checkbox element and features a label positioned on top, allowing users to click anywhere to toggle it. Two divs are customized with CSS to update the styling of the switch, giving it a modern and sophisticated look.

The video tutorial walks you through the creation of the Switch in simple and easy-to-follow steps. You will learn how to use custom CSS to move the switch select to 50% to the left when the checkbox is checked, and how to change the background color of the switch to match your brand colors. The tutorial also covers adding additional classes to the switch to avoid styling conflicts, and how to integrate the switch with Memberstack using a data-ms-member attribute.

I noticed a bunch of people asking how to do this in the forums, but no tutorials. So I made one! 

It includes a bit of optional custom code if you want the gif to transition smoothly. Otherwise, it's 100% native Webflow. 

I tried a few different options and this is my favorite when working in Webflow. As the title suggests, I'm hiding the GIF behind a static image. I'm also using Javascript to restart the GIF onHover. If you don't care about starting the GIF from the beginning, you can remove the JS.

In the 3min video I explain how to export the first frame and how to reduce file sizes by using a video instead.

Use this cloneable to:

- Block video embeds before users have given consent
- Style the block natively in Webflow
- Block both standard embeds and videos inside Rich text

This is the best solution I've come up with, and it gets the job done. It requires not using the video elements but instead relying on HTML embed element instead. Hopefully Webflow figures out a native way at some point, when they see the important of adhering to GPDR rules:)

Note: embed Youtube videos using the embed code url and not the standard share URL.

I've whipped up something I think you'll find handy: Member Script #74. With it, you can dynamically tweak the styling of any element on your site using just a link parameter.
