Learn how to create an "ultra gradient" in Webflow. This cloneable is based on Fons Mans' Twitter thread (https://twitter.com/fonsmans/status/1569708218351247366). He wrote a tutorial for Figma and I tried to create it in Webflow without any imported shapes or images.

Ultra Gradients in Webflow (Cloneable)

I found the effect on the iPhone 14 Pro (2022) site (the site is deleted by Apple every year if a new iPhone comes out.).

My YouTube Webflow community asked for a nice grid design as a tutorial, so I recreated Vitaa Architects' Journal section as an example: have a look at the original website here: vitaarchitecture.com/journal

They didn't use css grid for their layout but I found it is a perfect use case for it.
The grid contains several collection lists which are always limited to one item. This allowed me to create a more varied grid design.

I also use a fluid design system. It scales down the grid on the desktop breakpoint from 1600px downwards. The custom CSS for this is written in the global-css embed.

If you watch the tutorial, you'll notice that the best performance and sharpness of the lettering can only be achieved with an SVG.
That's actually the way Apple uses it as well. The disadvantage is that you have to export an extra SVG image for your own wording.

Animating text elements with scale does not work, because Chrome renders the font blurry 😟

Effect works well on mobiel too!

Apple.com Zoom In Typo Scroll Animation

In this Webflow tutorial, Jonas Arleth shows how to create a masked scroll animation with a split screen effect over the text. He explains how to analyze and recreate the animation. He covers various elements such as navigation, text shift and background color. He also shows how to move the text in the animation and gives tips for optimization.

In January I started a new series, in which I built a marketing website for the car manufacturer startup Sono Motors. The idea was to present the features and benefits of the solar car SION and to implement them interactively in Webflow. The website was created during their #SaveSion campaign, in which the company had raised more money for the production of the car. In addition to my down payment, I saw the project as an additional support to help the startup by raising awareness about the campaign through my own channels.

This project resulted in 10 Webflow YouTube tutorials. I published the responsive design process via my Patreon account.

In this Webflow tutorial, I'll show you how to create a dynamic vertical sidebar navigation, similar to the one on the Raw Materials Design Agency website. Perfect for One-Pagers & longer websites.

We'll use the native Standard Webflow navigation component and customize the design of the navigation point based on the active section. Plus, we'll integrate an appealing indicator to show users their current location.

A fancy full-screen Webflow navigation menu, which is completely responsive and can also be used from a desktop breakpoint.

The custom open and close animation with an animated background gradient gives the navigation menu an additional character of its own.

We build a cool parallax blur scrolling animation that is great to use in your portfolio. Especially as a web designer, you often make longer screenshots of your client projects, which can be showcased very well with this scrolling effect. I use a blurry background, which is basically the same image as in the foreground, but blurred by its filter and gives the whole design a great mood.
The project is as always free to clone in my Webflow Showcases!

3 Column Image Scroll Animation

In this cloneable, Lukas shows us how he shrinks a navigation in Webflow once it reaches a certain point while scrolling. In this case as soon as the next section arrives at the navigation. In addition, the design of the navigation changes from dark to light and the next section over scrolls the first.
No custom code is needed for this. It is all solved directly with the Webflow interactions.

In this Webflow tutorial I will show you how to create a scroll animation with a 3D perspective. With a few tricks you can even make 2D objects look like 3D and bring a wow effect into your website.‍ To make the whole thing scale smaller easily, I use the Fluid Design System on the desktop breakpoint (see custom-CSS embed element).
