I found a fantastic thread in the community forums where several folks had created a script which can switch tabs from a URL. The code is perfect, but the thread is pretty confusing. 

Hopefully this project + 30 second video tutorial will help people get to a solution faster. 

Now you can change tabs with links, link directly to a tab, link to a tab that's down the page, and even account for a fixed nav bar. 

It takes about 10 seconds to setup. Thank you Webflow community!

Nested Tabs Using Jquery

*** Please note that the dropdown controls the tabs but the tabs menu doesn't control the dropdown component so this should be used in situations where the default tabs menu might not work and would be hidden (ie for mobile portrait)***

A tabs component which is also controlled by a dropdown component.

The reason for this is that while the tabs menu is great, when users navigate the mobile experience, having a dropdown menu can sometimes work better than stacking each tab link vertically.

This demo fixes an issue in Webflow’s native navigation when using native tabs. On mobile (≤991px), clicking a tab may close the nav unintentionally. The included script stops click propagation (while optionally allowing link clicks inside tab content to bubble up) to prevent this. Fully configurable via a settings object. Clone and customize as needed.
