We aimed to see what we could create if we collaborated on a project without the usual design, budget or timeline constraints.
We decided to build Cloud 7 a short but effective landing page. To realize a unique, modern and high-converting concept, we had to expand our knowledge about design and programming. Some of these explorations include:
- Creating delightful animations for product features that run natively; no video embeds and no dependency on external animation software (yes, even in Safari).
- Programming a visual steam effect for a vibrant hero section.
- Using MAST, a class framework explicitly created for building well-structured, performative, and scalable Webflow sites.
- Generating accessible color palettes that look great across various displays.
- Understanding the importance of choosing fonts – and what it’s like spending hours to test dozens of them.
