Langa Bicycle Hub

The Langa Bicycle Hub is a social enterprise in Langa, Cape Town, South Africa. It was founded by Mzikhona Mgedle in 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, to provide bicycles and cycling-related services to the community. The hub offers a variety of services, including: Bicycle repairs, maintenance, bicycle sales and rentals, bicycle tours, cycling classes for children and adults, bicycle advocacy and activism. The Langa Bicycle Hub also works to promote cycling as a sustainable and affordable form of transportation. It does this by organising cycling events, lobbying for better cycling infrastructure, and educating the community about the benefits of cycling. Defijn was responsible for both the design and development of the Langa Bicycle Hub marketing website.
