Going green in the UK sometimes rolling up your own sleeves and making it work in your own community. That's what happening right now in the South Hams in the UK today. A group of forward-thinking individuals have banded together around the River Yealm to deliver renewable energy to the community and set up community fund pots to support other initiatives in the area. The website realigns this mission with their community and investors so that they can continue doing good for the current generation and many generations to come. It was a pleasure to deliver a website for such a great cause. Their latest investment round gained nearly £500,000 in investments, which will now allow Yealm Community Energy to fully purchase the solar farms they have on the grid and prepare them for the next ones to come.
