A fully functional personality quiz with different results depending on your answers. I made this to test integrating some JS that I'd previously made for something outside of Webflow. This is not a legitimate personality quiz. Or is it?*

The original version of this accidentally went viral on Tumblr and thousands of people gave me their email address following the CTA: 'Join the Movement'. I have since removed this data capture as I was not ready for the burden of cult management.

I barely scratched the surface here but it's really interesting to think about some of the micro-interactions that Webflow could enable to make an experience like this fun.

Been playing with some design elements for a new portfolio site but I am not sure this is the winner. 

Lots of experimental interactive elements here, and I like some of them, but overall I felt the design was a little heavy and does not translate well to mobile. 

It's cloneable, but complicated. And definitely not the cleanest (no)code. Proceed with caution if you plan on using it for anything other than just learning.

Baldwin Wallace University was my very first client in web design ( I graduated from their music theatre department in 2013). My first year working as an actor I started to dabble in web design so I reached out to my college mentor and said "Hey, CRAZY IDEA, but let me design a showcase website for you to get the industry excited about your students." It ended up being a hit! Even a Tony winning producer shared the site on his blog. Ever since, I've designed something fun for them to share every year. This is the latest design. 

Baldwin Wallace's Music theatre website was actually featured by Webflow and was my first big Webflow build

You can clone the site, cause hey, if it wasn't for this showcase I don't know where I'd be as a web designer today. It's far from a perfect design but it gets the job done for the program and the kids always get really excited about it.

2020 BWMT Music Theatre Showcase

Saw this spotlight-effect somewhere online and rebuilt it here in 5 min.  Simple settings with mouse movement interaction. Made 2 versions: shadow & white-on-white. Any color / text possible. Might be interesting to use for some hero landing page... Feel free to clone.

Webflowtips

The menu from minmum.studio is super fun so I decided to recreate something similar in Webflow. To create the sound effect I used the same technique used on my previous clonable https://www.webflowtips.com/b/how-to-add-audio-sounds-to-buttons

All the other animations are done entirely in Webflow.  

Two important things:

1. Make sure you publish the project for the sound to work.
2. Remember to host the audio file in your own server. The file used in the clonable will be removed, so if you use it for your own project it probably won’t work :(
