This is demo of some "sticky on scroll" elements I created completely within Webflow. I tried my best to explain how I did it, but I'm happy to answer any questions you have about the setup.

Sticky On Scroll

Reverse engineered version of Webflow's very own sticky section component found here: https://webflow.com/solutions/freelancers-agencies.  

Details:
- It's using a proxy div (4x) to call the 'Scroll In/Out of View' interactions
- There is custom code in the footer used for video playback controls (starting/stopping video at specific time based on scroll position)
- 100% credit to Webflow team for design and original implementation

A WebGL prototype showcasing some amazing artwork by StudioJQ. Just press and drag to explore.

The code is based on an awesome project by creative developer Daniel Velasquez and it is modified to more easily integrate with Webflow.

Sticky Image Showcase

A set of interesting looking image transitions including distortion and warp effects made with WebGL.

I modified the original code to behave as a bi-directional looping slider. Works on both desktop and mobile! Leave a comment with any questions.

A split screen design, where on the left side the text is scrolling and on the right side the project image stays sticky in the viewport and is changing depending on the project teaser and scroll position.

Remember that you have to adjust the interaction as soon as more teasers are added!

Sticky Project Teaser Image Scroll Animation

While learning about canvas last year, I took some time to reverse engineer (hack together) this beautiful slider, originally built by the team at ToyFight. The real beauty is in the desktop interaction. 

Some notes:
- Mobile view is using Hammer.JS for the slider
- Images can be updated by changing the attributes found in each <li>. Just replace the current image URL with your own.
- The "View Details" URL's can be updated the same way. 
- You can change "View Details" to say "View Project" by changing the attribute 'data-video' to false. If you want it to say something else, feel free to dive into the code - it's a fairly easy change.

A sticky scrolling component that uses interactions to highlight a few features while you scroll past. It also allows the user to click any of the titles to anchor scroll and to that specific feature.

Client site: A simple one page site for Sunflower Therapy, a Nottingham based Psychotherapy centre.

This site uses a cross fading image interaction, where the image section remains sticky as you scroll and changes based on the section you're looking at. I felt this was effective for this site since the imagery is purely decorative.
