***Featuring breakthrough computer vision and web graphics technologies*** Diners at Bibis Italianissimo in Yorkshire, UK are invited to check out the restaurant's mouthwatering desserts in interactive, photo-real 3D on their phones! Bibis' desserts were initially photographed with an iPhone, and now their digital 3D twins are displayed on the web for diners to browse and orbit around. The aim of the project was to improve diners' experience making their choices, create a novelty experience both in the restaurant and on social media, and tempt diners to buy more desserts 😋 Diners love the 3D menu format, and would like to see an all-courses 3D menu soon – rather than a dessert-only one.
