A Webflow replica of TOKEN2049, the world's largest crypto conference. This project showcases CMS architecture, third-party automation, and creative problem-solving.
CMS Structuring: Designed a row-and-column system for the sponsor logo grid, treating it like a table so logos can be rearranged by simply changing row/column values in Airtable — no Webflow editing needed. Speakers use standard CMS fields for simplicity.
Automation: Built an Airtable → Zapier → Webflow pipeline with Slack notifications. Zapier routes changes through two paths: Path A updates existing items using a saved Webflow ID; Path B creates new items and writes the Webflow ID back to Airtable.
Key Challenges: Built a custom JS-powered CMS slider for speakers (no native Webflow solution exists). Created duplicate content blocks for mobile responsiveness. Trade-offs include slightly off-center speaker alignment and lower mobile performance due to JavaScript.
