This is a card component that reveals details on hover. The cards will analyse the "dominant" colour within the card's image and adapt to match the image theme.

I've added a configurable "GRADIENT_MODE" setting in Custom Code which, when set to "true", will instead programmatically generate a "gradient" instead of a solid colour using the two most prominent colours in the image - this gives a nice effect too.

The hover interaction is switched for an "on-scroll" trigger on tablet/ mobile - this way, the cards will expand as they are in view :)

The image colour palette is analysed and extracted using the brilliant colour-thief.js adapted to Webflow's hosting policies (CORS 😅) using a proxy from Google. The card images are nfts by fvck_crystal.

To announce the new blending mode and backdrop filter features, Webflow reached out asking me to design and develop three eye-catching builds in two days. I quickly asked two of my friends, Shelby & Corey, for help creating the designs. This is one of the concepts that was chosen.

With Safari Technology Preview 68 and MacOS 10.14, it is now possibly for the browser to recognize if the operating system is configured to dark mode and adjust the css as defined by the @media query. Soon this will become supported by all major browsers and operating systems.

The team at Liminalia approached Studio Ziro and I to help deliver this project for the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) in celebration of Bicycle Day - the anniversary of Albert Hofmann’s first intentional use of LSD.

This ticket-only, sidescrolling Webflow site acted as the launchpad to more than 40 unique, virtual experiences hosted by musicians, artists and creators from around the world. 

The event drew over 12,000 unique visitors over the course evening. With only a week to go from concept to finished website, I handled the site development alongside a team of extremely talented artists and creators who supplied the content, art direction and everything else needed to go live.
