That's actually the way Apple uses it as well. The disadvantage is that you have to export an extra SVG image for your own wording.

Animating text elements with scale does not work, because Chrome renders the font blurry 😟

I do a lot of reading on my laptop and tablet. The ability to change the background-color and font-color on demand keeps my eyes and/or head from aching. If you have late night readers on your sites, they might thank you for implementing something like this. It's exceptionally easy to do with Webflow.

I made the CSS sun and moon for fun. In real life, I would use a much smaller toggle that follows the reader the down the page.

Text animations are everywhere these days on the web. Here are four letter animations using the library anime.js that can spice up your designs. 

To use it just follow these simple steps:

1. Give a class to the text you want to animate. For example: “animation1”
2. Add a span to the text and give it a class of “letter”
3. Copy the code on "Settings > Before body tag" and make sure you change the class to the one you used on step 1.
