I'm finally back on YouTube after a long break — and for a great reason! Webflow invited me to cover IX3 with GSAP, and I’m excited to dive into it.

https://youtu.be/_aRPdOCkkcE?si=bzLudGGNRUmvbWF8

In this video, I walk you through a custom example I built during the BETA phase of Webflow’s new IX3. Step by step, I break down the animation process, share insights, and review some of my favourite features so far.

Let’s get into it!

The Symphony was created as a submission for the Webflow's “Future of the Web” Community Challenge. It's purpose is to showcase new GSAP powered Interactions on a timeline. We have made it to the finals and are very proud of this accomplishment.

We decided to dig into the concept first — not only creating spatial interfaces but also crafting a compelling story that’s relatable to anyone. By utilizing sound, music, and instruments, we present the foundations of web design and real-time comparison of code and interactions through a timeline. While the classical piano represents the fundamentals, the drum machine shows how AI is opening new possibilities with just the click of a button.

You are the composer.
Webflow is the instrument.
Play your symphony.

What IF Web

Webflow just launched GSAP natively - so we decided to have a bit of fun with it 🎮

Our very own Jacob Dobson cooked up a quick little cloneable using GSAP’s page load and hover effects to see what we could build in an afternoon.

It’s clean, it’s simple, and it’s free for anyone to clone, learn from, and remix.

I was struggling to make FAQ accordions with IX3 - so, when I figured it out, I wanted to make sure to release it as a public cloneable so that it can save other people time - hope this helps you!
