To improve the security and discoverability of websites published to our webflow.io domain, we’re adding that domain to the Public Suffix List, which will result in some changes to analytics cookie behavior for sites with URLs ending with webflow.io.

• Who’s affected? Websites that are ONLY published to webflow.io will see their analytics cookies reset. Websites with cookies set on custom domains will not see any changes to their cookies. (This change should only affect free sites and testing/staging URLs).
• What’s changing? Cookies for analytics tools like Google Analytics and Facebook pixel (even if you set them in the dashboard) will reset, meaning existing visitors that return to your site will not be recognized as returning visitors on their first visit after this is live.
• When will this happen? Different browsers will put this change into effect at different times, but this change may roll out as early as June.
• What can I do to preserve my cookies? If you want to preserve existing cookies on your webflow.io domain, you can add this script to your site.
