The Webflow Community Challenge: Shape the Future of Motion on the Web (the “Challenge”) is a skills-based competition where Webflow users (“Entrants”) may submit their work to be recognized.
- BINDING AGREEMENT: By entering, you agree to these Official Rules, which form a binding contract between you and Webflow, Inc. (“Webflow” or “Sponsor”).
- ELIGIBILITY: The Challenge is open worldwide to persons who are 18 years of age or older (or the age of legal majority, if older), and legal entities, except for residents and legal entities in: Brazil, Quebec, Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, Cuba, Iran, Syria, and North Korea. Persons in any of the following categories are NOT eligible to participate: (a) Sponsor’s employees, contractors, consultants, or agents and their respective affiliates; (b) suppliers of goods or services in connection with the Challenge; (c) persons who are in the immediate family of any person in any of the preceding categories; (d) persons or entities under U.S. export controls or sanctions.
- SPONSOR: The Challenge is sponsored by Webflow, Inc., 398 11th St., San Francisco, California, 94103, USA.
- PERIOD: The Challenge begins on July 24, 2025 and ends on August 21, 2025 at 11:59pm PT (the "Challenge Period").
- HOW TO ENTER: To enter, you must complete the online submission form and provide all requested information, including your name, email address, site title, and the URL for your build. All entries must be created in Webflow using the latest version of Webflow Interactions powered by GSAP.
- JUDGING: Submissions will be evaluated by a panel of motion experts, creators, and Webflow community all-stars. The judges will select four (4) finalists based on the following criteria:
- Compelling, scroll-based storytelling with a focus on stunning motion, thoughtful layout, and intuitive hierarchy
- Visual polish and motion fluency
- Creative use of Webflow Interactions powered by GSAP
- Adherence to Webflow’s Challenge Guidelines
From the four (4) finalists, the judging panel will select one (1) winner.
- PRIZES: The winner will receive the following:
- Their work featured on webflow.com and promoted across Webflow's social channels.
- $5,000 cash.
- A flight, hotel, and ticket to Webflow Conf in New York City.
Finalists may also be eligible to turn their submissions into templates in the Webflow Marketplace.
- RELEASE OF LIABILITY; CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION; INDEMNIFICATION:
- Transmission of Information. Released Parties (as defined in the Webflow Awards Rules) are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, technical failures, or other errors.
- Fraud; Reservation of Rights. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, and/or modify the Challenge if any fraud or other factor impairs the integrity of the Challenge.
- Release and Indemnity. By participating, you release and agree to indemnify the Released Parties from any and all liability for losses or damages arising from your participation in the Challenge.
- PUBLICITY: By participating, you agree that Sponsor may use your name, likeness, and submitted materials for advertising and promotional purposes.
- INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS: You grant Webflow a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, and display the content you submit.
- PRIVACY: Sponsor will collect and process your personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
- TAXES: You are responsible for all taxes imposed on prizes.
- NOT AN OFFER OR CONTRACT OF EMPLOYMENT: Participation in the Challenge does not constitute an offer of employment.
- FORCE MAJEURE: Sponsor is not responsible for any failure to conduct the Challenge due to unforeseen circumstances.
- ARBITRATION: Any disputes related to the Challenge will be resolved by binding arbitration.
- GOVERNING LAW AND VENUE: The Challenge is governed by the laws of the State of California.
- WINNER’S LIST: To request a list of winners, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to Webflow, Inc. at the address above.
