External link

External links direct users from one website to another to provide them with additional relevant information. You can embed them in text and images.

These links also impact search-engine visibility and rankings. Search engines like Google consider external links indicators of a website's relevance, authority, and credibility, and factor them in search engine optimization (SEO) ranking algorithms. When a website externally links to another site, it’s like a vote of confidence for the quality and relevance of that site's content.

Not all external links have the same value however. Links from high-quality, authoritative websites and publishers are generally more credible than low-quality ones. Too many external links can also have a negative SEO impact on a website if search engines consider the links irrelevant or manipulative.
