Bottom padding

Bottom padding

Bottom padding is the space between the bottom of an element and its border. Having enough padding on all sides gives elements clarity and room to breathe. Too little padding and elements may clash with their own borders or seem cramped. Too much padding and designs could lose balance, or an element’s background colors could spill out of the bounding box

In CSS, bottom padding is called the padding-bottom property, which you can set for a specific number of pixels. Writing padding-bottom: 20px will separate the content and its border by 20 pixels.

In the Webflow Designer, you can adjust padding on elements. You can set padding for every side of the element, including the bottom, and if you want more modifications, you can also adjust the element’s margin.
