Our commitment

Linda Tong - Chief Operating Officer at Webflow

Linda Tong

Chief Executive Officer

“Fostering a diverse and inclusive culture at Webflow is imperative. It encourages new ways of thinking and collaboration, helping us better understand each other and who we’re serving. By valuing varied perspectives and experiences, we become more creative, better at problem-solving, and engage in richer discussions, ultimately leading to stronger business outcomes.”

Candace Byrdsong Williams

Director, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

“DEI is not about checking boxes. It’s not only about the things we can see, but just as important, the things we can’t. It’s about helping our current team members feel supported — and helping potential team members feel as if they belong even before they arrive.”

Diversity

Diversity at Webflow refers to all the layers that make up each of our team members. This includes but isn’t limited to: race, gender, ethnicity, our lived experiences, disabilities, neurodiversities, religious backgrounds, age, national origin, and sexual orientation, just to name a few.

Equity

Equity focuses on creating a fair and inclusive environment where all employees have equal access to opportunities and resources. By promoting equity, we strive to eliminate biases and barriers that may hinder individuals from fully participating and advancing in the workplace.

Inclusion

Inclusion means recognizing, respecting, and valuing all the layers of diversity and differences in an individual, and fostering a welcoming environment where team members feel comfortable and confident to show up as their full selves. With inclusion, our aim is to ensure everyone feels valued.

Building perspective

Behind any exceptional web experience is an effort to bring in diverse, unique perspectives that understand how different people interact with the web (and the world).

We’re committed to better understanding the people we work with and build for. Our work is never done — but here’s how we’re doing so far.

Global affinity groups

Webflow supports and funds identity-based affinity groups (AGs) that are designed to help foster a culture of belonging, connection, and community among historically marginalized identities.

Some of the ways we support our AGs include:

Aligning their goals with broader business objectives
Advocating for them at a leadership level to influence business decisions and outcomes
Ensuring their identities are accurately represented in the overall communications, voice and tone, and strategy of the company
Working alongside AGs to implement programs, education, and tooling
Providing each AG with budget for virtual community events and company-wide programming

Hear from our team

Kate Marshall
Senior Copywriter, Queerflow AG co-founder
"My neurodivergence and queerness are absolutely core to who I am, and it’s so special that I don’t have to check those at the door when I show up to work. Queerflow and Disabilities @ Webflow have made my 3.5 years on the team so much more meaningful."
Bryce Wagg
Senior Quality Specialist
"Taking care of children, a family member, or a spouse can be really difficult and feel very lonely — and the Caregivers at Webflow AG mission is to really to give folks a space to know they’re not alone, and give an opportunity to connect with other people in your similar situation. That really helps us embrace the positions we’re in and feel like we’re in it together."
Mercy Bell
Sr Revenue Enablement Manager, Blackflow AG co-lead
"While half of the day is dedicated to thinking about revenue enablement, I'm also thinking about who I am as a person. And that's what this work is all about; finding a way to be a part of a community that celebrates me both as an employee and as a person. And I really think we’re accomplishing that here at Webflow."
Blaire McClure
Product Marketing Manager, Agencies
"I'm really appreciative of the community that the Asians @ Webflow affinity group has given me. It's been tremendously helpful in my first couple of weeks of being at the company. I've been able to forge authentic connections, and it's made integrating into the company culture a lot easier and fun for me."
