How to integrate FluidSEO with Webflow
Managing SEO metadata across hundreds of pages manually takes time away from building features. FluidSEO automates metadata generation, implements structured data, and runs site-wide audits without requiring you to write code or leave Webflow.
Install FluidSEO as a native Webflow app through the Webflow Apps marketplace. The app uses OAuth authentication to access your site data and appears directly in Webflow where you can generate alt text, optimize meta descriptions, and add schema markup.
Use the FluidSEO app
FluidSEO is designed to be used as a native Webflow app installed from the Webflow Apps Marketplace. The recommended approach is to use the app entirely inside Webflow without embed scripts or manual code.
The app requests permissions for sites, pages, CMS, custom code, assets, forms, ecommerce, users, site activity, and workspace data to operate within your Webflow environment.
Installation process:
- Visit the FluidSEO marketplace listing
- Click Add to site
- Select your workspace and site
- Grant the requested permissions
- Complete the OAuth flow
- Access FluidSEO from Webflow
After installation, FluidSEO appears in your Webflow interface with access to all features. The app works with both static pages and CMS collections, supports unlimited pages limited only by Webflow's constraints, and requires no browser extensions or credential sharing.
FluidSEO includes the following features:
- Smart Alt Text analyzes image content using computer vision to generate descriptive alt text suggestions for images in static pages and CMS collections
- Smart Descriptions (also called Smart SEO Boost) analyzes your page content and target keywords using natural language processing to generate meta titles and descriptions that match search intent
- Page Audits scans pages for SEO issues and provides color-coded recommendations based on severity
- Schema adds JSON-LD structured data for Article and Organization types without requiring you to paste code manually
- Bulk Tag Editor exports static page SEO data to CSV files for spreadsheet editing and imports changes back to Webflow

Yes, through the Bulk Tag Editor. Open the tool in FluidSEO, download your site's SEO data as CSV, edit the spreadsheet with your metadata changes, then upload the modified CSV back to FluidSEO. After processing completes, publish your site to make changes live.
The CSV includes page titles, meta descriptions, Open Graph titles and descriptions, Open Graph images, and site search settings. This approach works faster than editing pages individually when you need to update metadata patterns across dozens or hundreds of pages.
The Smart Alt Text feature analyzes image content to generate descriptive alt text. Select static pages or CMS collections, specify where images are stored (rich text fields, image fields, or static assets), filter to show only images missing alt text, then click Generate to create AI suggestions. Review the generated text and save changes individually or in bulk.
For CMS collections, you select which collection contains your images and which field stores alt text. FluidSEO maps images to text fields and generates descriptions that you can edit before saving. Changes publish when you publish your Webflow site.
Yes, the Schema tool adds structured data through field mapping. Open the Schema feature in FluidSEO, select target pages, choose a schema type (Article, Organization, or Product), then map your CMS fields to schema properties. For article schema, map your title field to the schema title property, body content to schema content, and author field to schema author. Click Save and publish your site.
