The Webflow Community Fund supports projects that help our community build, learn, and grow – together.

How the Collective Fund works

Our funding process is designed to be fair, transparent, and community-first. We award funding on a rolling basis, with due diligence that scales based on project scope and investment to ensure responsible stewardship.

We publish quarterly updates highlighting funded projects and impact. Some Collective Fund programs may be co-hosted or co-funded with trusted Webflow Partners to expand opportunities and increase the overall impact for the Webflow Community.

Does the project introduce a fresh idea, perspective, or approach, or build on something that already exists in the Webflow community in a clearly differentiated way?

Who will benefit from this project, and how? Is the impact clear and observable, whether for a small, focused group or a broader regional or global audience?

Sustainability

Will it build lasting skills, assets, or opportunities?

Feasibility

Is the project realistic and set up for success?

Alignment

Does it reflect the inclusive, creative, and supportive spirit of the Webflow community?

Impact” may include skill-building, increased access, career opportunities, knowledge sharing, or other meaningful community outcomes. “Scale” is evaluated by how thoughtfully and effectively the project is shared, not just audience size.

To support projects that create real community impact, we’ve built in a few safeguards. As demand grows beyond what we can fund, this approach helps us evaluate applications transparently and support the strongest work.

  • Applicants must have an active Webflow account
  • Projects must serve the Webflow community, not commercial gain
  • Projects must comply with our Collective Fund Terms, Community Terms & Webflow Terms
  • Applicants in some countries may be ineligible due to legal or payout restrictions (see FAQ for the full list)

Funding amounts typically range from $500 to $15,000. Larger initiatives may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

  • Under $3k: ~4 weeks
  • $3k–$15k: ~4–6 weeks
  • $15k+: ~6–8 weeks

Monetization is permitted only when it does not limit access to core educational or community-building value.

Community events
Event organizers may charge a ticket fee to help manage attendance, cover additional costs, or ensure commitment. Any fees should be reasonable and aligned with the purpose of your event. Webflow’s contribution should meaningfully reduce cost barriers for attendees.

Educational content, courses, or community resources
No. If the Collective Fund is supporting the development of educational materials, courses, or tutorials, these must be freely accessible to the Webflow Community. The goal of the Collective Fund is to expand access — not create paid barriers to learning.

Technical projects, open-source initiatives, or Marketplace assets:

  • Open-source projects must remain free.
  • Marketplace assets may be sold as long as your project proposal makes clear how the asset creates meaningful value for the community and aligns with Marketplace guidelines.

Apps or integrations follow the same principles — monetization is allowed only when community benefit and transparency are clear.

Yes. Due to payout, legal, and compliance requirements, applicants in some countries are ineligible. Applicants will see the full list when applying.

Yes – though priority is given to new applicants and high-impact initiatives.

No. You retain ownership. Webflow may ask to feature your work in educational content, case studies, or promotional materials.
