Flowstar Spin Wheel Gamification
Connect Flowstar Spin Wheel’s gamification widget platform with Webflow to add interactive pop-ups that capture leads in exchange for discount codes and rewards.
How to integrate Flowstar Spin Wheel Gamification with Webflow
The easiest way to set up your Flowstar Webflow integration is by installing the Flowstar Spin Wheel app from the Webflow Marketplace. The app requires custom code deployment — you obtain embed code from Flowstar and add it to your site using Webflow's Code Embed element, Page Settings, or Site Settings.
Note: You need a paid Webflow Site plan (Basic or higher) to publish custom code.
Install Flowstar Spin Wheel from the Webflow Marketplace
The Webflow Marketplace listing provides app discovery and permission documentation. The listing describes "no-code setup" and "drag-and-drop interface" — these terms refer to Flowstar's configuration dashboard, where you design your spin wheel, not the Webflow installation method.
Implementation steps:
- Visit the Flowstar app marketplace page to review required permissions and features
- Contact Flowstar support at hi@flowstar.co to request your site-specific embed code
- Deploy the code using one of the Webflow custom code methods below
Note: Flowstar's technical documentation and embed code are not publicly accessible. Contact support directly to obtain implementation specifications.
Deploy through Webflow custom code
Once you receive the embed code, deploy it through one of three placement options:
- Code Embed element for inline placement: In Webflow, drag a Code Embed element to your desired location, paste your Flowstar embed code, and click Save & Close. This places the widget at a specific location on your page.
- Page Settings custom code: Click the gear icon at the top of the page to open Page Settings, scroll to Custom Code, and paste your embed code in the Before </body> tag section. This loads the widget on that specific page only.
- Site Settings custom code: For spin wheels across multiple pages, go to Site Settings → Custom Code and paste your embed code in the Footer Code section. This injects the script across your entire site.
Technical constraints: Custom Code elements support up to 50,000 characters and cannot include <html>, <body>, or <head> tags.
Site-wide deployment reduces maintenance but can impact performance on pages where the spin wheel isn't needed. Page-specific deployment provides better control. After implementation, test with Google PageSpeed Insights to verify performance impact.
What you can build
Integrate Flowstar Spin Wheel with Webflow to create interactive marketing campaigns that capture leads while providing immediate value to visitors.
- Exit-intent discount popups: Deploy spin wheels that trigger when visitors move to close the browser tab. Visitors spin to reveal discount codes (configurable percentages or fixed amounts) and submit their email to claim the reward for immediate use at checkout.
- Timed engagement triggers: Configure widgets to appear after visitors spend a set amount of time on a page. Scratch cards, lottery balls, or spin wheels reveal rewards like free shipping, bonus content, or consultation offers in exchange for contact information.
- Multi-tier reward campaigns: Create scratch card or pick-a-gift widgets with tiered prize structures. Visitors reveal their reward tier and submit contact details to claim it — useful for segmenting leads by reward value for sales follow-up.
- Form completion incentives: Add spin wheels that appear after users click signup or registration buttons. The gamification layer offers bonus rewards (extended trials, priority access, exclusive content) to increase form completion rates.
