Humblytics
Connect Humblytics with Webflow to track conversions and user behavior using cookie-free, GDPR-compliant analytics.
How to integrate Humblytics with Webflow
Humblytics tracks user behavior without cookies, so you can run analytics without consent banners that reduce conversion rates. The platform provides heatmaps, funnel tracking, and A/B testing, along with standard analytics.
You can integrate Humblytics with Webflow through the marketplace App for one-click setup, custom code embed for manual installation, or the Humblytics External Analytics API for programmatic data access.
Connect through the Webflow App
The Webflow App provides the fastest setup. Navigate to the Humblytics listing in the Webflow App Store and authorize the connection. Analytics tracking begins automatically after you publish your site.
Add Humblytics tracking with custom code
The custom code method places the tracking script directly in your Webflow site settings. This approach works site-wide and requires minimal configuration. Navigate to Site settings > Custom code in your Webflow dashboard, then paste the Humblytics script in the Head code section.
The script loads asynchronously with a lightweight footprint of approximately 36 KB. After adding the script, publish your site to activate tracking.
Track specific user interactions by adding custom attributes to Webflow elements. Select any element and add a custom attribute with the format humblytics="event-name". For example, humblytics="hero-cta-click" tracks clicks on your main call-to-action button.
Core tracking capabilities include the following:
- Automatic page view tracking captures every page visit without additional configuration
- Click event tracking monitors interactions on elements with custom attributes
- Form submission tracking records when visitors submit Webflow forms automatically
- Heatmap generation shows where users click and scroll on each page
- Conversion funnel analysis identifies where visitors abandon multi-step processes
- A/B split testing enables no-code experimentation through the Humblytics experiments interface
- Revenue attribution integrates with payment systems like Stripe and Foxy.io to track conversion value
Cross-device tracking is limited because each device is treated as a separate visitor. In many Webflow e-commerce setups, checkout pages do not allow custom JavaScript injection, so use thank-you pages or payment provider events for purchase conversion tracking.
Build with Webflow and Humblytics APIs
The Humblytics External Analytics API retrieves analytics data programmatically for custom dashboards, automated reports, or internal systems. API access is included with Scale and Enterprise plans and is available by request on other plans.
The API uses bearer token authentication with property-scoped keys generated at Settings → API Keys. Each key ties to a specific Humblytics property and requires the metrics permission.
Two endpoints cover different analytics needs:
- The traffic trends endpoint returns time-series data with hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly granularity
- The traffic breakdown endpoint provides dimensional analysis across UTM parameters, countries, device types, landing pages, and referrers
API responses use JSON format with ISO-8601 timestamps and support IANA time zone names such as America/New_York or Europe/London.
To work with Humblytics and Webflow together programmatically, use the Webflow Data API alongside Humblytics' External Analytics API. For CMS-driven dashboards, you can use the Webflow CMS API to list collection items and manage content based on your analytics workflows.
Humblytics has webhook support on its roadmap, but production-ready webhook functionality remains unavailable as of January 2026. Current integrations must use the External Analytics API with polling-based data retrieval.
What you can build
Integrating Humblytics with Webflow gives you visibility into user behavior and conversion bottlenecks across your site, with heatmaps, funnel tracking, and A/B testing in one analytics dashboard.
- Privacy-compliant marketing sites: Build landing pages and marketing sites that track conversions without cookie consent banners while maintaining GDPR compliance through cookie-free tracking
- A/B tested campaign pages: Create multiple variations of landing pages in Webflow and run simultaneous A/B tests through the Humblytics experiments interface without writing code
- Lead generation funnels with drop-off analysis: Design multi-step lead capture flows in Webflow and use Humblytics funnel tracking to identify where potential customers abandon the process, then optimize those pages to improve conversion rates
- Agency client dashboards: Build Webflow sites that display key metrics using CMS-driven collection lists, pulling analytics data through the Humblytics API on a scheduled basis and storing results in Webflow CMS collections (this advanced pattern requires a developer or automation platform)
Frequently asked questions
No. Humblytics uses cookie-free tracking that hashes IP addresses and device characteristics without storing identifiable information. This approach complies with GDPR requirements by design. Note that other scripts on your site (ads, third-party trackers) may still require consent.
The fastest method is to connect through the Webflow App Store with one-click authorization. Alternatively, copy your tracking script from the Humblytics dashboard and paste it in Site settings > Custom code > Head code section using custom code. Publish your site to activate tracking.
The Humblytics script loads asynchronously and weighs approximately 36 KB. Async loading means the browser downloads the script in parallel with other resources rather than blocking page rendering.
