We know that websites don’t exist in a vacuum — and that a successful site is deeply integrated with the tools and processes that businesses need to thrive. Since launching Webflow Apps in beta last year, our team has been working to deliver more power and flexibility to this critical component of building and launching a successful site.
Today we’re excited to announce the next generation of Webflow Apps–bringing the power of Apps into the Designer to unlock new ways Apps can help supercharge how you build in Webflow, and more deeply integrate with the tools you use every day.
Here’s what’s new:
- New Apps Panel. Now you can access Apps installed from the Webflow Marketplace to a site or workspace, right in the Designer from the new Apps panel.
- Apps that will change how you build in Webflow. With their new home in the Designer, Apps can now open directly in Webflow–unlocking powerful new ways for Apps to interact directly with your site’s canvas by adding and editing site elements such as forms, images, and text in real-time.
- Seamless integrations with your tech stack. Apps can now connect with more of Webflow’s core features–allowing for more powerful integrations with the tools in your stack such as your CRM, marketing automation, and analytics platforms.
- Transparent permissions. We’ve introduced an improved installation and authorization flow allowing teams to view and accept more granular permissions when installing an App to a site or workspace.
As part of today’s launch, we are launching over 20 new Apps in the Webflow Marketplace from partners like HubSpot, Jasper, Unsplash, Typeform, Finsweet, Memberstack and more! You can find all these new Apps today in the Webflow Marketplace, or you can visit Webflow University to learn more about getting started with Apps.
